WELCOME to Preschool!

Welcome to a new year of preschool and to my class blog! I will  make several posts on here, but I mostly use ClassDOJO that I talked about on our home visit. If you need help signing up let me know and I will be happy to help!

Classroom Management System Cheat Sheet!

The coins lead to a treasure! Your child has the opportunity to earn treasure box at any time during the week by receiving coins! The coins will lead to the treasure. 

In the beginning your child will only have to earn 5 coins to receive the treasure. Ways to earn coins:

*Following all of the 5 S.T.E.P.S.

-Using safe hands and safe feet

-Trying their best

-Expressing themselves (using words)

-Playing nice with others

-Stopping and thinking

Your child’s calendar (located in their folder) will be marked with a 

BLUE STAR on the days they receive treasure box. 

By the end of the school year, your child may have to earn up to 10 coins before receiving treasure boxJ

If your child is having an off day, we will begin to give them warnings. If they receive 3 warnings, a short note home will be written on their calendar with a brief explanation as to why they received those warnings.

Did someone say "Snowball Fight"?

In our story this week the snowmen come alive during the night and one thing they do is make snowballs and have the "World's Best Snowball Fight". So...today we have the "WORLD's BEST PRESCHOOL SNOWBALL FIGHT!" Check out the videos and see how much fun we had:)
